First Step:  Try to avoid automobile fumes and similar air impurities. 
Second Step: Don't Use Tobacco. Not smoking is one of the most important decisions that you can make in order to prevent cancer. It can reduce your risk of several cancers, including lung and mouth cancer.  
Third Step: Get more Vitamin D. Research shows that people with plenty of Vitamin D in their blood are four times less likely to develop cancer. 
Fourth Step: Eat a variety of healthy foods. Healthy dieting can reduce your risk of getting certain types of cancer. About 30% of cancers are related to issues of nutrition, including obesity. 
Fifth Step: Eat abundance of foods from plant based sources. Eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Also, eat whole grains and beans. 
Sixth Step: Limit saturated Fat. Choose low-fat or fat-free foods. High fat diets may increase your risks of cancers of the prostate, colon, and uterus. One way to limit your intake of saturated fat is to limit your meat consumption and include more meatless meals in your diet
